Booking Terms and Conditions
Please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time by phone, email or Contact Form with any queries before booking so we can help you decide on the best tour to suit your requirements and interests.
Payment:
We require a 25% deposit at the time you book your tour
(Non-refundable except if Foot Luce Walking Tours cancel in exceptional circumstances).
Full payment must be received 14 days in advance of your tour
We accept payment in £ Sterling only via Electronic Bank Transfer.
Cancellation:
Please contact us as early as possible to make any changes to your scheduled tour and we will do our utmost to accommodate your requests.
If due to exceptional circumstances such as adverse weather conditions, Government COVID-19 or other general safety regulations, or other unforeseen land use restrictions such as Forestry Work being undertaken, Foot Luce Walking Tours reserves the right to amend or cancel any itinerary.
Your Foot Luce Walking Tours guides will do their utmost to ensure that tours proceed as planned; however, if your Foot Luce guides are required to make any minor changes to an itinerary due to circumstances beyond their control, no refund of monies will be paid for that tour.
Disclaimer for Foot Luce Walking Tours:
Guests must wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
We advise all of our customers in advance of the following Disclaimer:
“As a client of Foot Luce Walking Tours, I accept that being in the outdoors involves sometimes challenging terrain and weather conditions and particularly on inclement days, conditions underfoot may be hazardous. I accept I am responsible for my own personal safety and belongings that I take on a Foot Luce Walking Tour in the assessment of whether or not I am willing to accept the risk of being in an outdoor environment and taking responsibility for myself personally if I choose to accept that risk.
Any dispute arising from Foot Luce Walking Tours is subject to the laws of Scotland and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.”
COVID-19 Policy:
Foot Luce Walking Tours adheres to all current Government guidelines and safety regulations in relation to COVID-19. We recommend that all tour guests are aware of and adhere to same.
We are happy to provide current local information and advice in this regard in advance of your tour.
General Terms & Conditions:
Customer personal property is carried entirely at the owner’s risk and Foot Luce Walking tours shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to personal property.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during a tour. The minimum age for our tours is 12 years old.
Foot Luce Walking Tours reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offense or upset to others on the tour.
